Community Acupuncture
Community Acupuncture is a way to receive acupuncture in a group setting at a more affordable price.
New patients have found that attending Community Acupuncture with a family member or friend can be comforting if they’re nervous about their first acupuncture treatment. Established patients can enjoy additional acupuncture opportunities where the goals discussed in their individual treatments inform the continued healing in this group setting. I love treating people in a group environment. Not only is it more financially accessible, but there is a beautiful energy when people come together for community healing. While you’re encouraged to bring someone with you to Community Acupuncture, there’s no pressure to do so. You’re welcome to attend solo and still enjoy the benefits of community healing.
What To Expect During Community Acupuncture
Upon arrival, you will fill out a brief intake form so we can discuss your current health challenges and pick acupuncture points that support your goals. While I do my best to keep everyone’s health complaints private, these discussions will occur in the communal space. The needles (typically 10 or fewer) will be retained for about 20 minutes while you are resting comfortably on a zero-gravity chair.
